Keeping Clean, Accountability for Everyday Cleanliness to Tackling COVID

When COVID hit, we are happy to say the last thing we were worried about is the health of our space! Since day one, GoodWork has continued to make sure our members’ and guests' health is our top priority - and to hold ourselves accountable by pursuing WELL building certification (the certification that establishes healthy, interiors for commercial + residential space). Working alongside Green Architects GGOArchitects + Green Consultants, Sustainable Concepts + Go Well Consulting, we have defined the following focuses to ensure our space stays clean no matter what + extra precautions we are taking now to keep COVID at bay in our thriving community.

Air Quality

  • MR-13 filters (the highest level) capture airborne viruses and bacteria.

  • Fresh Air is constant in our space, pushing in 17 cu ft per minute (most buildings only provide a few cubic ft per minute).

  • We have close to 200 plants cleaning the air for us at all times!

Daylight + Outdoor Workspace

Did you know that sunlight is a great disinfectant ? Our walls of windows help us keep our space sanitized + those using our courtyard get vital fresh air flow with the knowledge that the chances of virus transmission being greatly reduced in outdoor spaces. We continue to offer our beautiful courtyard for work under shaded tables (masks still required) + Vitamin D is vital for our bodies to fight viruses for those looking to catch some rays in our hammock!

Social Distancing

We have always made sure everyone has plenty of space to breathe - with 20K sq ft of open coworking space, we have ample room for members to social distance in open coworking + plenty of private places (like phone rooms to conference rooms) that people can utilize for easy social distancing.

Sanitization

We have hand sanitizer stations at every entrance + work hard sterilize all surfaces - from door handles, kitchen surfaces, elevator keypads and open coworking desks. We provide disinfectant spray for members to spray down meeting room tables, chairs and door handles after use, while our team is always monitoring compliance to ensure we as a community are taking care together.

Masks

Masks are required to be worn in common areas, for every individual who enters the building, per the City of Dallas. We have a small supply of disposable masks available, so don’t sweat it too hard if you’ve left yours at home.
